The Art and Craft Store in Adelaide will be opening its doors to the public on Wednesday.
The shop is owned by the African Arts & Crafts Association (AAAC) and opened its doors in September last year.
Its opening comes after a five-year renovation to the space, which will be opened to the community at noon on Wednesday.
“The shop will offer a wide range of goods including a range of products from traditional African art to contemporary African art.
The shop will be located at the intersection of West Gate and Victoria streets, and will open to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis.”
The AAAC is a national organisation that is committed to the cultural and artistic advancement of African people and the communities they live in and work with.
The AACC has an annual conference on African and African-American arts and crafts.
